Meet Brent..... Brent, an accomplished Colorado Springs businessman, became licensed in real estate in 1988 after graduating from college with a B.A. in Business and Marketing. In 1989, when the Colorado Springs market was very soft, he started a landscaping business in addition to selling real estate. Although his true passion was real estate, the landscaping business was getting to be full-time job and was taking away from what he love to do best "help people buy and sell homes". In 1997 Brent sold his business with over 1200 customers who account for many of Brent's referral contacts today. Brent joined forces with his mother, Dot Demos in 1998 building a partnership: The Demos Team. Dot was a true professional and was considered one of Colorado Springs best realtors with over 40 years of experience and Realtor of the year in 1988 for Colorado Springs. Together, they rose to the top level of sales achievement in Colorado Springs and for Prudential Real Estate. With Dot's untimely passing in 2002, Brent chose to continue to carry on the tradition of excellence in real estate and giving back to the community that has become a signature of the Demos family. "I have always believed in helping others, participating in our community, and making the dream of a true home a reality for my customers". Growing up in a real estate family, Brent mastered the business quickly and surrounded himself with a team and company that is "the best in the business". In January of 2005, Brent opened The Platinum Group Realtors with several other top agents in Colorado Springs. "Our objective for the company is to keep it small and hire only the best agents. This in turn will insure outstanding customer service and help maintain a solid reputation as a leader in the real estate industry". The Platinum Group recently celebrated a second anniversary and reached their goal of just over $300 million in sales for 2006. The company was also the number one independent real estate office in Colorado Springs for 2006. "When we started our company, it was never about the numbers, we just wanted the best agents.
